True Love

Two people I know that have a strong love for each other are Bob and Debbie. They've been married for almost 36 years. Debbie loves to have fun and go out. She loves roller coasters and the beach. When I think of her and roller coasters, I think of her being young and crazy wild. Bob, on the other hand, is quiet and chill. He likes working in the garden and I don't think he likes the beach so much. What's really funny is that he doesn't eat chicken and Debbie doesn't eat red meat. I do believe that these qualities explain the strength of their relationship because they are total opposites and I believe that opposites attract.

The Thinking and Writing Quote

The quote about thinking and writing is saying that if you know how to think good enough, then your writing wouldn't be that hard.  If you planned out our thoughts well enough and took time to think about what you wanted to say, then your ideas can just flow right onto the paper.  

This year, I am taking an AP government class.  When the class had our first writing assignment,  I had no clue what the assignment wanted me to do.  After reading the articles and reading one of the books from the class, it was easier to understand.  I thought about my opinion on the topic and what I wanted to write.  Then I made an outline with all my thoughts in order.  Thinking about it and having an outline helps make the writing easier.  I do have another assignment that I am still working on.  It is really challenging for me.  Now I realize why it is hard for me to write.  It's because I had a hard time thinking about the topic and reading about it.  If I can't think hard enough for this writing assignment, then of course it will be challenging to write all my thoughts down if I don't have any thoughts about it.  All I need to do is read and think about it.  

3 Characteristics to Becoming Successful

Three characteristics you should have to become successful are time management, self discipline, and social skills.  To attain these characteristics, you should be very motivated.  If you were motivated, it will be easy to have self discipline.  Time management will help to become successful because it helps you make priorities for yourself to get work done.  Self discipline helps because you need to have control and sit yourself down to get work finished.  You should also have social skills.  Social skills will be a big help in becoming successful because no mater what job or career you want, you always have to work with others.  

I still need to work on improving these characteristics.  I am social and I can work with others if they are willing to work with me and help.  I still do need to work on self discipline and time management.  I've been having an issue with procrastination and I know I need to overcome that in order to become successful.  

The Quote About Education

The quote about education is saying that it has two main objects.  First is the basics, like math and English.  The second is to gain knowledge and habits that will help you in the long run.  

In school, the basics we learn are math and English.  The second is to gain habits and life long skills.  For example, in school I learned different study habits.  Studying will help me in life outside of school, like if I were to take a driving test.  I would have already studied for the test and pass.  Driving will help me in life for transportation.  Also, if I were to practice interviewing, and having a business portfolio with a resume, then that will help me find a job.  These are examples of someone gaining knowledge that helps them in life.
